Erasmus Training Periods

The Poznań University of Technology participates in the ERASMUS+ foreign training programme. This is connected with specific funds and grants for such training periods in foreign enterprises or institutions. Any student of PUT who completes the first year of studies may apply for subsidised Erasmus training. It may be his or her mandatory training required in the first- or second-degree programme.

Detailed information on the Erasmus training programme and university recruitment are available at: https://www.put.poznan.pl/en/internships-abroad-erasmus.

The recruitment for Erasmus training is conducted at the university (not faculty) level. It is managed by the Department of LLL&International Education.

Erasmus training may last from 3 to 12 months (at PUT, it lasts 3 months – the duration of the funding period), usually during the summer break, and it must end by September 30.

Since the 2013/14 academic year, in order to apply and receive a stipend, it is necessary to provide a confirmation of acceptance for training form a foreign company or institution. It is no longer possible, as in the previous years, to obtain an Erasmus grant first, and only then look for a training place.

Grant assignment criteria: confirmed student status, confirmed command of a foreign language (mostly English), scientific and social activities at the university.

Training is reckoned up at the Department of Further and International Education on the basis of a certificate from the training company/institution, confirming the training period, briefly describing its course, and providing a student evaluation (since the 2012/13 academic year – also in numerical value from 0 to 10). The certificate may also be the basis for receiving credit for the Erasmus training as obligatory training at 1st- or 2nd-degree studies. Information about training and the credit are entered in the student’s credit book and on the academic progress sheet by the Training Coordinator at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications.
