The Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications PUT
invites international as well as Polish candidates
to take a graduate program in electronics and telecommunications

We offer:

4-semester graduate programme – MSc in electronics and telecommunications

The academic year starts at the beginning of October. To enrol, you must have a BSc in telecommunications and electronics or in related areas, for example in general electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, technical physics, mathematics, control engineering, etc.

The first (preparatory) semester of the 4-semester graduate studies is mainly devoted to enhance and widen the student’s knowledge in telecommunications and electronics. This semester program contains five courses covering the main areas of electronics and telecommunications and the sixth course is devoted to programming in Matlab or C++ – which is a necessary tool for successful continuation of the studies during the next three semesters. After the preparatory semester the students join the 3-semester MSc curriculum.

3-semester graduate programme – MSc in electronics and telecommunications

The academic year starts at the beginning of March. To enrol, you must have a BSc in electronics, telecommunications or closely related fields.

It should be emphasized that completing the MSc programme without the preparatory semester (present in the 4-semester curriculum) makes the studies difficult to the BSc graduates in the fields other than electronics and telecommunications. The graduates who have BSc in the areas not very closely related to electronics and/or telecommunications, and who apply for admission to the 3-semester graduate programme, must have individual consent from the E&T Faculty Dean. The consent is based on at least positive grades in the undergraduate Transcript of records, or professional experience in the job related to electronics and telecommunications.
